The first monster we've fought was hard to beat. Usually, with the first moster, it only takes one hit before it's down," Lita commented. "True. The monsters normally starts out easy to beat; then gets harder as the enemy tests our strenghth. If the monsters start out hard to beat I'm not looking forward to what they could be like in a couple weeks," Raye said. "That's where things get confusing. The enemy doesn't usually know about us at first. They think attacking and conquring the Earth would be a fairly simple task with no rebellion involved. If the first attack was difficult and well educated that leaves us at one posible answer as to why. They knew we were coming. They were ready for us," Serena informed them all logically. It was the first time she had ever come up with something so intelligent. The others were shocked into speechlessness. As what she had said sunk in everyone looked at each other with worried expressions. "How could they posibly know about us?" Mina asked and then turned to face Amy. "Can you tell us Amy?" "Well Queen Berl is dead, Metallia is gone for good, and Anne and Alan have turned to love instead of hate which means I'm just as clueless as you right now. Give me a few weeks, though, and I might be able to figure it out," Amy replied and started analyising their situation on her computer. Everone sighed dejectedly. They weren't going to get much closer to figuring things out that night. Serena glanced at her watch. "OH NO!! I'm going to be late to supper!" She cried and quickly bolted up and out the door. Everyone laught as they watched Serena dissapear into the distance flying away at full speed. "I hope she never changes. Things just wouldn't be the same," Darien commented. "I not so sure I agree, but her departure signals the end of this meeting I guess," Raye told everyone. Everyone agreed and headed their own separate ways. * * * * * * The next mourning Serena woke up at about 10 a.m. and tramped her way into the kitchen, sleepily, for breakfast. She found Luna sitting on the table reading the news paper. Serena looked around. "Where is everyone Luna?" she asked. "Your dad is at work, and your mom took Sammy out shopping for a summer wordrobe. Summer vacation is only three weeks away you know? " Luna replied. "I completly forgot," Serena said dryly. Was it posible to forget about something like going on vacation? A hour later Serena decided to go to Amy's house, and go visit Molly in the hospital. She was walking past the park when she heard a scream tear through the air. She quickly found a place to transform and then paged the scouts. -What is it Serena?-Amy asked. -There's trouble in the park!-Serena replied. -We'll be there in a flash-Mina said. Then Serena (as Sailor Moon) ran to confront the monster that was terrorizing the park. When she saw the monster she wanted to run away and never come back. It was a slimy, disqusting, green thing that didn't so much as resemble a human. The slim was dripping all over the place and wasn't very pleasent to look at. 'This has got to be the grossest creature I have ever seen,' Serena thought. Then she got ready to attack. "For detroying the tranquility of this park you will be punished! I am Sailor Moon champion of love and justice and behalf of the moon you're moon dusted!" Sailor Moon shouted. "Moon Tiara Magic!" Sailor Moon called out and launched her attack. The monster stepped out of the way of the tiara and laughted tauntingly. "Is that the best you can do? Now it's my turn!" the slimmy creature said. It gripped some slime in its three fingered hand and tossed it towards Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon tried to jump out of way, but accidently tripped. The slim surrounded her, pressing her arms against her sides in a helpless posture, and she fell into some bushes. She felt her breathing slowly decrease. She was sufficating! "Mars Fire Ignite!" "Jupiter Thunderclap Zap!" "Mercury Ice Bubbles Freeze!" "Venus Cresent Beam Smash!" The scouts had arrived just in time, and fought the monster using combined attacks. Then a masked man in a tuxedo arrived and started searching for Sailor Moon. When he heard her fierce gasping he quickly following them to the bushes. When he saw her pale almost blue face he reacted instintly and pulled out a sharp and dangerous rose. The masked man quickly cut the slim away and held Sailor Moon in his arms until her breathing steadied. "Thank you Tuxedo Mask," she said foundly. "You saved me again." "I would do anything for my favorite scout," Tuxedo Mask replied lovingly and gave her a quick kiss. "Now we should get to the fight and dust that monster. Right?" "Oh no! The scouts! That monster is dangerous!" Sailor Moon cried and jumped to her feet. "Augh! I've been slimed!" Venus cried as she was surrounded with slime. Then she callapsed to the ground gasping for breath. "Venus!" Sailor Moon exclaimed. "I.....can't.......breathe," Venus chocked out. "Mars Calestial Fire Surround!" Mars screamed in rage. "Jupiter Sepreme Thunder Dragon!" Jupiter shouted putting all her anger into her attack. "Shine Aqua Illusion!" Mercury yelled out. Their attacks hit thier mark and were followed by a dozen our so roses. The monster was severly weakened and staggered on its feet (if you can call them that). "Now Sailor Moon!" Tuxedo Mask cried. Sailor Moon nodded and brought out her septer. "Moon Septer Ellimination!" she shouted out. The slimmy monster was insantly blasted into dust. The slime that was strangling Venus dissapeared leaving her gasping and shaking on the ground. Everyone rushed over to Venus to see how she was doing. Mercury gave her a quick check-up with her computer and found her pulse a little fast, but otherwise normal. "If you had been fighting when we got here Venus wouldn't have almost died! You're so irresponsible! Where were you!?! Waite! I know the answer to that. You were somewhere hiding under a rock til' it was safe to come out. You are such a-" Mars yelled at Sailor Moon and was interupeted by Tuxedo Mask. "Mars! Get a hold of yourself! You sould be ashamed. She was laying in the bushes in the very condition that Venus is in now. So don't you blam it on her!" Tuxedo Mask told Mars harshly. Mars looked at him in shock. She hadn't known that her princess had been hurt. She quickly glanced at Sailor Moon. "I feel ill," Sailor Moon said softly and swayed on her feet. Then she collapsed to the ground, and her sailor suite faded away and left her in her everyday clothes. "Oh no! What's wrong with her!?!" Jupiter exclaimed. "This is all my fault!" Mars cried. "Is she going to be okay?" Tuxedo Mask asked trying his best not to panic. "Hold your questions, while I scan her," Mercury told them calmly. "Um.......you guys?...........I'm feeling a bit woozy myself," Venus said, and calapsed to the groud besides Serena. Her Sailor Venus uniform disapeared leaving a plain clothed Mina lying on the ground as responsive as a rock. The two cats who had been a bit slow in arriving came at that moment only to see the monster gone, and two of their charges lying on the ground.
