EXPERIENCE: 'Namam' on my wrist
(1st May 2008)

It was a day after I showed a pious lady friend the way to an 'amman' temple near my home.   I was washing my hands at home.   As I looked down at my hands, I realized that the soap suds had taken the form of Sri Maha Vishnu's 'namam' on my left wrist.   Never had they formally taken any form that I could discern, but this time around, it was unmistakeable.

Now, for a bit of background.   I am a devout Krishna (another incarnation of Sri Maha Vishnu) follower.   And although this particular temple is pre-dominantly 'amman''s, there are other altars that house other Gods' & Goddesses', including a Rama (another incarnation of Sri Maha Vishnu) & Sita (His eternal wife, in all incarnations) altar.   My pious lady friend has an 'amman' altar just inside the front gate of her house.   However, it's strange that she goes to the Krishna temple near her home; while I go to this 'amman' temple near my home.   I have been to the temple near her home on my own but this is the first time she's been to the one near mine.   It's as if we've been praying for each other (?); more so, as she claimed to have received strength from 'amman' during her temple-visit (as I'd prayed she would).   On another tack, whenever I apply a 'namam' to my forehead, I also apply one to my neck & another to my left wrist, hence, this incident makes me feel as if God is in my blood by virtue of my ritual.
