The images displayed on this page were taken in low light which tends to produce rather grainy pictures as you can see, so my outdoor photography is ruled by the weather until I upgrade my DigiCam, fortunately we do seem to get more than our fair share of good weather in Dorset, It's quite a good place to live. I'm also on the hunt for an old `sunpack' type spotlight (the sort you used to get for use with video cameras) so I can get decent close ups of underframes, brake rigging and other interesting bits that live in the shade.
Class 60 locomotive arriving at Hamworthy Junction from Hamworthy Goods with a train of JNA wagons.
This particular loco is one member of Class`60' thats a little bit special. 60098 named `Charles Francis Brush' and adorned with a small engraved brass plate above the nameplate stating that it was the 10,000th locomotive built at Brush Traction Works since 1945. The following photographs were taken whilst 60098 was standing at Hamworthy box on the Hamworthy Goods branch awaiting a clear mainline path on a scrap steel working from the loading yard on the Hamworthy Goods branch.
