Agency Profile MetroWest Human Services (MWHS), based in Ashland, MA is committed to creating opportunities for all people with developmental disabilities to initiate ideas, make choices and decisions, and share in the resources of the community. Their Company provides Community Employment Services including: career planning; job development and matching; on-the-job-training; transportation training; case management; and follow-up supports. Residential and Community Living Support Services include: group and apartment living; cooperative living for adults who need staff assistance; and supported living services personally designated for each individual's unique needs and lifestyle choices, including shared living. Their day Habilitation and Community Options programs provide therapeutic enrichment activities and community volunteer possitions for adults with developmental disabilities. MWHS also administers two state-wide assessment programs to determine appropriateness of nursing facility placement and Personal Care Assistance for individuals with developmental disabilities.
