| ABOUT ME |
My name is Josh Romero. I'm 16 years old, and have brown hair and brown eyes. I live in Phoenix Arizona. My birthday is November 24th. And my favorite color (In case you were wondering) is yellow (It's unusual I know, I just always liked yellow for some odd reason, lol).
I've basically been playing video games my whole life. As early as I can remember, I remember playing video games. With my first real memory of a game being Super Mario Bros. for the NES. And that was back when I used to sleep with my parents! I even remember dying at the first Goomba on the first level. lol.
I've got a good sense of humor and a nice imagination. I've thought of many video game ideas that I'm really intent on creating someday.
I've always been a loyal fan of Nintendo, and still am. Right now I have a N64, Super NES, and Game Boy Color. I plan on getting both Game Boy Advance and GameCube (Once it launches) sometime soon.
I love lots of games and series, especially ones by Nintendo, such as Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, etc.
My favorite genres are RPG, First-Person Shooter, and Action Adventure. My worst game genres are Realistic Sports, Realistic Racing and I don't care to much for Simulation, although I haven't played many.
I'm a pretty big Pokemon fan too. With my favorite Pokemon being Pikachu. I also collect the cards.
I love to read and write, and have been getting EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) since issue #100.
I'm also a Christian.
I really like to watch movies (as long as they're cool) and have many favorites. With my current favorite being The Matrix. I really like action and fighting movies.
I do occasionally like to listen to music, although I really only listen to Christian music. My favorite
music group is DC Talk, but I also like some others. I don't really have a favorite type of music, although I do like to listen to just music (W/out any voice) such as things like techno and real cool, modern music. I like to listen to a lot of game music that I download off the Internet. I also don't like to listen to music that has lots of cussing. Although I do like rap (Especially Christian) as long as they don't cuss a lot.
My favorite sport is basketball. And my hobbies are, getting on the computer (workin' on my site, getting on the Internet) reading and writing, playing games (of course), and some other things.
I have 4 cats: Garfield, Tubby, Minxie and a new kitten that we haven't named yet. If you remember, we had two other cats, Speckles and our Momma Cat. Well, Speckles disappeared and has never come back, and we just recently gave Momma Cat and the rest of her kittens (We kept one) to the pound. But, they assured us they'd be able to find her a good home. Since they've been very successful at giving away cats.
My family consists of two brothers (Zach, 14, and Mike, 11) a sister (Tanya, 8) and my mom and dad (Lonna & Steve). I'm the oldest of the kids. My grandma (on my moms side) no longer lives with us. Her name is Dulcie (Dusty) Bear. And she's 71 years old. She moved out a couple of months ago. I've also got many cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. (You can find some of my cousin Tony's sites on my links page).
Well, that's about it about me, I'll continue to work on my site, and update as much as I can. I hope you enjoy it! ~:^)
MY VIDEO GAME LIBRARY
Ok, since my site is completely on games, and I talk about them so much and that's just about all I do, I thought it was only fitting that I list all the games and systems I currently own. I will also list the games that I'm currently playing.
I will update this list with any new games I get (Or borrow) and will also change the games that I'm currently playing whenever I start playing anything else. Just so you know, I go through my games and play them all the time, even the one's I've already beat (No matter what system they are on or how old they are. I play games on older systems just as much as I play games on our newer systems). Just for the fun of it. So that's what I mean by "game's I'm currenlty playing". Also, there are certain games that me and my brothers and our friends play almost on a daily basis, or whenever friends come over or me and my brothers want to play a multiplayer game. I'll list those too, under a different heading. And change them depending on what we currently are playing a lot.

We currently own five systems. All listed above. A couple things to note though. We have an NES (And NES games), but it's one that we found in the trash (We gave our old NES away a long time ago). It looks like it's in pretty good shape, but we don't have the stuff to hook it up. So, when we get that, I'll see if our NES works. I've been dying to play some NES games since it's been so long since I last played them. But since our NES doesn't work, I don't count that as a system since we can't play any games on it. Also, we have a Playstation 2, but no PS2 games . . . Yet. Hopefully we'll get some soon. So, we mostly use our Playstation 2 to play Playstation One games (Not to mention DVD's). Lastly, yes, we do own more than one Game Boy Color. I own one (yellow) and my brother Zach also owns one (green). We also have an old original Game Boy and Game Boy Pocket, but they aren't used and basically just collect dust. They might actually be broken (I think the Game Boy is). Anyway, expect this list to hopefully grow by at least one system, probably more though. I hope to get a GameCube for my birthday or Christmas, and also sometime get a Game Boy Advance and Xbox. My brother also wants to get a Dreamcast, so we'll probably get that soon since they are so cheap now.
