In Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (UMK3) for the SNES, there are two punch buttons, two kick buttons, a run button, and a block button. You can use the D-Pad (Direction(al) Pad) to move your character around the screen. You can perform special and Finishing Moves during the game, by pressing the D-Pad and/or a series of Buttons. Once pressed, your character will perform the corresponding move. You can only do a finishing move (one of the highlilghts of the game) once your opponent's energy bar has completely depleted and the words "Finish Him" fllash up on the screen. And to perform them, you must be standing a certain distance from the your opponent.
