WIPEOUT 64 REVIEW
GRAPHICS: 7.0    MUSIC: 9.5         REPLAY VALUE: 7.0       ADDS TO GENRE: 4.0
FUN FACTOR: 6.5

This was a ok game. I had been wanting to rent Wipeout 64 for a long time, but when I finally did, this game seriously let me down. It was nothing like I expected it to be. I was expecting a kind of Extreme-G meets F-Zero X type game, but both F-Zero and Extreme-G (I own Extreme-G) are alot funner. The controls aren't very good, and its fustrating that you stop every time you run into a wall, which can cause you to loose the race. The multiplayer game was aerage at best. The music in Wipeout 64 is some of the best music I have ever heard in a N64 game, with really cool techno songs by some real groups. If your a wipeout fan I think you should atleast check it out, but if your not a Wipeout fan, then you might want to rent something like Extreme-G. There are better action/racing games out there that are better than Wipeout 64.
