In the summer of 1965, at the age of 5 years old, I heard a
message about Hell. �Realizing that without Jesus as my Savior I would spend an
eternity there, I prayed to God, asking Him to forgive me of my sin and to save me. �
And He did! �I grew up in the home of a Baptist preacher, and learned daily from God's
Word about faith, growth, and living the Christian life.

God began working in my heart, calling me to this ministry, in
the winter of 1969. �That Christmas I received my first ventriloquist doll. �It
was a simple plastic doll (Jerry Mahoney) with a string behind his neck I pulled to make his
mouth move. �But it was all I needed. �I immediately began using him in church.
�After a couple of years, I bought my first "professional" doll, Randy. �God began
using us in other churches and youth meetings, and I gave myself to Him to use whenever
and wherever He wanted.

One year, a gospel magician challenged me to consider adding
magic to my routine. �After much prayerful consideration I accepted his challenge.
�Little did I realize that this would open up many more opportunities for me to share
the message of God's love and salvation. �I continued to get bookings, and we saw
God continue to bless this ministry. �While in college, studying to go into the pastorate,
I became involved with their puppet ministry. �Again God used this to open up another
avenue for us to use in serving Him.

God has given us so many opportunities over the years to serve
Him. �We have had the privilege of helping churches with their Daily Vacation Bible
Schools, youth rallies, Sunday School conferences, summer camp, children's day, and much
more. �We have had the privilege of doing programs for Awana, and traveling for Word
of Life conducting youth rallies. �God has even given us an opportunity to travel
overseas to help a church with it's summer camp program, as well as youth rallies.
