Rick Miller's Late TailRick Miller bought his Rascal body NEW from Sears. He still has it to this day ! Here is some pics of his early days and a bunch his son Logan submitted of its current condition. What a beautiful example, this baby is still in its orriginal (#4) blue gel coat finish. Rick custom made the zebra striped interior himself. Looking closer at the interior picture you will notice that it has the brackets for the wind wings, this was a Sears option. The wooden dash face was optional as well. Also shown is the gusset behind the tail light common to the late tail Rascal - early tail did not have this feature. Ricks body has no box or loop behind the back seat indicating to me that it gave no trouble being removed from the mold. |
