This is one of four hope chests that I have made in the last four years. This one I made for myself after making three others for my daughters. It is made of edge-glued pine with tongue and grooved cedar inside on the bottom. The decoration on the front is made of a hardwood purchased at a local lumberyard.
This is a picture of one of 5 different toy boxes I have made for my grandchildren over the last few years.

This shelfing unit is made out Birch lumbercore plywood. There are no nails in it at all therefore making it easy to store when not in use. It is held together with mortise and tenons. It was made for a Christmas present this year for one of my granddaughters. It took only about 6 hours to complete.

This was the second hope chest I made. It does not have the cedar lining in it as it is used to hold dishes in it.
