"Desert Moon" rope incense is the culmination of several years of experimentation to find the best way to deliver pure fragrances through the very long tradition of burning incense. Juniper Tree Designs, headed by artist/designer, Jim Spada, started working with many different approaches back in New York state some years ago. Through trial and error and much spiritual effort, Mr. Spada, has found that using pure aromatic oils and resins in a base of cotton fiber roping along with a traditional natural oxidizing agent (promotes easy lighting and even burning). "Desert Moon" rope incense is much less irritating during burning and releases the scents so that they are more true and less smoky smelling. Another convenient feature of our rope incense is the ability to control burning time, simply snip off as little or as much as you like, burning the whole three (3) foot coil will give five (5) to six (6) hours of smooth fragrant burning.
