James Marsters

James Wesley Marsters was born August 20th, and is originally from Greenville, California, but grew up in Modesto. His father used to be a minister, and his mother almost became a nun; he also has several brothers and sisters, and has been married but is now divorced. He graduated from Davis High School and studied at Juilliard, the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and the American Conservatory Theatre. He co-founded the Genesis Theatre Company, which played in Chicago.
He listens to alternative rock, and likes Radiohead. Blond is obviously not his real hair color; his hair is actually dark brown (his advice to anyone getting a peroxide job: four packets of Sweet 'n' Low in the peroxide). He has a small scar on his left eyebrow from an attempted mugging in New York, and he seriously damaged his left leg while playing a game as a child, which required skin grafts and kept him off his feet for almost a year. When he's not on-camera, he works on his car, drives in the desert, plays guitar, sings, paints, and writes. Marsters lives in Los Angeles with his tough old cat from the Bronx, Zachary. He is currently single.
