Spike's Love, Drusilla

Spike has known Drusilla for all of his vampiric existance, and was turned byAngelus as a plaything for her.
Drusilla was a good English girl who was psychic, and until Angelus killed her family and sent her mad before siring her, was planning to be a nun. She met Angelus one day when she went to confession, unknowing that Angelus was in the other side making a meal of the priest.
Spike is different from many soulless vampires in that he has a great capacity to love. He lavished the most tender care on Dru, when she was weak and helpless, and when it was he who was unable to hunt for food, Drusilla, newly restored to full health, cared for him.
However, Spike made a truce with Buffy to stop Angel raising Acathla, which ended with Buffy sending Angelus to Hell. Angelus and Dru had been enjoying a reunion after he slept with Buffy and lost his soul, which was a further source of hurt to Spike as he was immobilised in a wheelchair. Drusilla was deeply upset at Angel's demise, blamed Spike, and started using other demons to hurt him. Eventually Spike, enraged, returned from Brazil to Sunnydale. Kidnapping Willow and Xander, with an eye to Willow performing a love spell to afflict Dru, Spike changed his mind at the last moment and went back to find Drusilla. Sadly, Dru was now with a Fungus Demon and was no longer interested in Spike.
