Favorite People and Things...

People:

My Grandma Booth - she has been my rock. She's always been there for me and anyone else in the family who needed something, regardless of what they had done. She is now retired and spends her days doing whatever she wants. She has a miniture rat terrier named Mini (see the pics page). It's the world's ugliest dog (besides a chiuaiua), but she is rather amusing and lovable.

My Boyfriend Doug - is 27 years old. He also goes to Central Michigan University and is graduating in May 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He wants to go into crash testing (with cars, but he's open to other product testing possibilities). He spent four years in the United States Air Force working on helicopters. Click here for more USAF stuff. He also likes to work on cars. He drives a black 1999 Dodge Ram 4x4, but his toy is a 1985 Ford F-150. He has been working on it for several years (longer than I've been around, so at least 3 years). He only gets to work on it occasionally because he keeps it at his mom's house. We live in an apartment building and they don't allow people to work on vehicles here.

Dustin - is one of the best friends I've ever had. He knows all my secrets! Dustin lives in St. Joseph, Missouri. He is going to college there (Missouri Western State College). He wants to be an elementary school teacher. I think one of my favorite memories with him was when I was driving and kept hitting the brakes really hard in the middle of the road. I enjoyed his reaction because he turns red pretty easily. He probably thought I belonged in a mental institution, but hey, what's life without a little fun?

Josh - is my old high school sweetheart. Since we figured out how to be just friends we have been great together. Although he is far away, I know if I need someone to talk to about life's downfalls, he'll be there. He is currently back in Missouri, but he was a United States Marine for four years. He was stationed in California most of the time, and he was in Maryland for a while. Some people can't imagine talking to one of their ex's about relationships, but we always seem to go to each other for advice on love. Hey Josh - Stay away from those married women!

Denis Leary - is one of the funniest, synical comedians I've ever heard. If you haven't heard his CD or seen his comedy shows you are missing out! He was also in Demolition Man and other movies. He just started a show on ABC Wednesday night called The Job .

John Travolta - is one of my two favorite actors. He's definately good at what he does! My all-time favorite Travolta movie is Grease of course!

Nicolas Cage - is my other favorite actor. There's just something about him that intrigues me. My favorite movies he did are Con Air and 60 Seconds. But we can't forget the movie that they both are in, Face-Off!

My Aunt Janet and Uncle Paul - are two of my favorite people. Janet has helped me get into college, given me advice on life, taught me how to cook a few things, and has been very supportive. She is a German Professor at CMU. Paul is one addition to my family that I can't imagine not being around. He is funny, interesting, and possitively strange (in a good way)! If I am in a bad mood, he can make me smile and laugh. He has his own basoon restoration business, plays in the Midland Symphony Orchestra, and flies a plane that he built for recreational purposes.

Things:

TV Shows - General Hospital and the other 3 ABC daytime soaps, Dharma and Greg, La Femme Nikita, The Mole, Survivor, NYPD Blue, ER, and Gideon's Crossing. I know, I know, I watch entirely too much tv!

Movies - The Flowers in the Attic, Keeping the Faith, And God Created Women, Grease, Patch Adams, and Labyrinth.

Musicians - Charlie Daniels Band, Macy Gray, CCR, Shania Twain, The Foo Fighters, The Eagles, Matchbox 20, and Will Smith. I listen to just about anything.

Color - Purple!!!

Food - my personal Lasagna recipe (see my food page), Cheddar Wurst, Mac & Cheese, Bacon Cheese and Chicken sandwiches, and Fettucini Alfredo.
