HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

AUDIO VISION went on the air February 1, 1991. Help us celebrate our 6th year anniversary. We will have an open house on Friday, February 28, from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. We will have plenty of refreshments, so drop in for a bit and bring your family and friends. If there is someone special you would like to have an invitation sent to, let me know. Invitations will be going out February 13.

FAREWELL, DIANNE

Dianne Singletary is moving to Dallas, Texas. We would like to wish her the best of luck in the Lone Star State. Dianne has been a volunteer for AUDIO VISION for more than five years. She has broadcast more than 1050 hours of live readings. The reason why most of you probably do not recognize the name is because she has been reading from 8:00 to 10:00 on Sunday mornings. A rare person indeed. We will truly miss her around here. In addition to her reading of the newspapers, she has also recorded a couple of books and did a magazine for a while. Thank you, Dawn O'Dey

COUNT THE CALORIES, COUNT THE DOLLARS

Thanks to everyone who bought Sees Candy this past holiday season. We sold more than 200 pounds of Seas Candy and AUDIO VISION made more than $250.00. I would like to especially thank Bob Tellefson and the Yucaipa Rotary Club for their purchase of around 100 pounds of chocolate. Thanks again to everyone for your good taste.

SPRING CLEANING

On March 14 and 15 there will be a rummage sale. All proceeds go to AUDIO VISION. This is being sponsored by Ad Harp of Yucaipa who is an AUDIO VISION listener. He wanted to do something to help. If you have anything you would like to donate to the rummage sale, bring it to AUDIO VISION. If you have a lot, or something that is big, you may bring it directly to Ad Harp's home. His address and telephone number are: 795-6409 at 35835 Santa Maria, Yucaipa. The rummage sale will be held at his home on the above dates. If anyone would like to help out on either of those two days, give me a call. Let's clear out those closets.
