In case you have not heard. We are definitely moving. Our new address is 35242 Yucaipa Blvd. ste C. It is on yucaipa Boulevard between Bryant and Adams on the north side of the boulevard. We are between Gordan Lesly Hair Salon and A and W Tax service. If you are travelling East on Yucaipa Boulevard, continue past 4th St and go past Adams, about five blocks past 4th. You can park on the curb out front, or you can park in the back. There is an entrance in the front and from the parking lot. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the moving fund.

FROM HERE TO THERE

We have been in our upstairs location since the beginning of AUDIO VISION's service in 1991. For the last two years we have been trying to move out of that location due to the stairs and to poor landlord management. We finally had the confidence to do this due to several contributions. The S. Mark Taper Foundation, Weingart Foundation, TRW's Employee Charitable Organization (ECO), and many individual contributors. With some financial backing, we finally had the courage to do it. The new studios are being built by Jabaay Construction. Jim Jabaay built the studios at the upstairs location. The construction at the new location is scheduled to start around May 15. The following schedule is being implemented for the move: Saturday, June 23, will be AUDIO VISION's last day of local broadcast from the upstairs studios. From the 23rd of May through May 31, we will be moving the furniture and equipment to the new office and studios. Although we will not be broadcasting local programming that week, we will be broad casting the In Touch Network from the 23rd of May until some time on Friday, May 29. At that time we will move the satellite dish to the new studio and hopefully have the dish installed first so as to continue with the In touch Network broadcast from some time Saturday, May 30 until the morning of June 1, which is when we plan to resume our local broadcast. I hope everyone will be satisfied with the new facility. I think you will. I look forward to seeing you and working with you at our new office/studios June 1.

OPEN HOUSE

We are planning an open house to celebrate our seven years of service to the blind community and to showcase our new office/studios. The tentative date for the open house is Friday, June 26. We will have more definite details by the middle of June. We hope to see all of you there to help kick off our eighth year.

TRUCKS AND MUSCLES NEEDED

Anyone who has a truck, possibly with a trailer hitch, or anyone who can help move during week days, let me know. Thanks for your help.
