NEWS LETTER

WINDING DOWN

It's hard to believe that we are nearing the end of another year already. During this busy time of year with holidays approaching, it is time once again for the See's Candy Fund Raiser. The See's order form will be on the coffee counter. Order all the candy you need, or your friends and relatives need, for the low price of $8.75 per pound or the same price for a gift certificate. All other See's items are also available for varying prices. When you make your order, make checks payable to AUDIO VISION. The checks will not be deposited until November 20, which is the time we will stop taking orders for the first See's delivery. The first delivery of candy will be at AUDIO VISION November 27 to be picked up. We will have a second order which will be delivered before Christmas. I will have more details on the second delivery date later. The candy is less expensive than if you bought it at a See's store, so stock up on all of your holiday gift treats now, and help AUDIO VISION's finance as well.

FOREVER OPTIMISTIC

I wish I could tell you what a great year we had in fund raising this year. It has been a very trying year keeping this station on the air. I would like to thank those who have continually supported AUDIO VISION this past year. Lakeview Association, Yucaipa Rotary Club, United Methodist Church, Sun Lakes Drama Club, Bergen Bruswig, Gannette Foundation, Prudential Foundation, Rialto Breakfast Host Lions Club, Redlands Host lions Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles, PacifiCare Foundation, Redlands Federal Bank, Bever Medical Group, Amgen Foundation, Pacific Bell, and many individuals and so much more to name. If AUDIO VISION were a profit making business, we would have been out of business months ago. AUDIO VISION has had to take Tom and Don off of the pay roll for a few months. We are still optimistic and working very hard to raise funds for our broadcast.

ENTERTAINMENT '97

If you are interested in purchasing Entertainment '97 books, we have them. They cost $25.00. AUDIO VISION gets $5.00 for each book sold. So be sure and buy your Entertainment '97 Book from AUDIO VISiON this year, or if you know of someone who would like them, send them our way.

CONGRATULATIONS, BOB TELLEFSON

We would like to thank and congratulate Bob Tellefson for being awarded the volunteerism award from the Prudential Insurance Company. Bob is a recently retired Prudential representative who received recognition for his volunteer work at AUDIO VISION. AUDIO VISION received a $500.00 contribution in recognition of Bob's award. This is the fourth year in a row for Bob and for AUDIO VISION. Bob is a charter MEMBER AUDIO VISION volunteer.
