Starcraft (PC) can be bought at most any retailer that sells computer games, computer equiptment, video games, etc. for about $29.96*. Starcraft is rated M for Mature by ESRB, and is produced by Blizzard Entertainment.
Starcraft is about 3 races (Terran, Zerg, and Protoss) who are constantly battling. When you put in Starcraft (after it has been loaded to your comp) a screen comes up with the following options:Single-Player, Multi-Player, Campaign Editor, Options, and Exit. When you play Single-Player, you can play either as Terran, Zerg (But they warn you to beat Terran first, but you can continue and play Zerg if you want to), and Protoss (They warn you again here to beat Terran and Zerg before playing Protoss, but again you can continue and play Protoss if you want to)...In Multi-Player you can either connect to Battle.net, Local Area Network [IPX], Modem, or Direct Cable Connection and play as either Terran, Zerg, and Protoss...The Campaign Editor lets you create your own map that you can play...Options let you mess around with the Settings...Exit lets you exit Starcraft.
When you are playing the game, the screen has 8 main parts to it: Hide Terrain, Mini Map, Status Display, Portrait, Command Buttons, Menu, Main Screen, and Resources. Hide Terrain lets you hide the Mini Map...Mini Map is a small version of the entire map...Status Display shows information like wireframe, hit points, equiptment, kills, rank, and unitdesignation of the unit that you clicked on...Portrait shows you the face of the unit that controls the building you clicked on...Command Buttons allow the unit to move, stop, attack, patrol, hold position, and other special unit commands that only that particular unit can do...Menu lets you save game, load game, pause game, options, help, mission objectives, end mission, return to game...Main Screen is the entire part of your moniter where you play Starcraft...Resources is the place where you see all the minerals, vespene gas, and number of units produced/number of units available that you have.
That is pretty much the basics of Starcraft. If I went into anymore detail it wouldn't really be the basics, and I wouldn't have other pages. So, if you want to know more about Starcraft, click Back on your browser and go to other links on my site.
