Creek Inn on Ben Lomond is able to boast itself as being Tasmania’s highest bed and breakfast establishment. It offers a fully licensed tavern and a restauraunt which specialises in the use of Tasmanian products. Creek Inn is open all year round and is able to cater for meals both eat in and take away as well as accepting bookings for private functions (see Contact page for how to enquire into these). Special events are programmed throughout the year so keep checking the site for information on when these are happening. Creek Inn on Ben Lomond The units are warm and comfortable and are conveniently located at the base of the slopes in the ski village so you can ski staight to your door. Each unit has a lounge/bedroom with two double bunk beds, a private ensuite, an area to secure your skis and equipment as well as a sundeck. A fold out divan is also available. Rates are per unit per night, which includes bed and continental breakfast for up to 4 guests. Tea/coffee facilities are provided. A minimum booking of 2 nights is requred on weekends (Friday and Saturday). Rates for 2000 ski season Unit $220-00 per night (includes GST) EAP* $20-00 per night (includes GST) Meals are available at the Creek Inn, but cooking facilities are available in Unit 6 only (a surcharge of $30-00 applies). The use of microwave ovens or gas stoves is not permitted in any of the units. The Ski Village and Creek Inn complex operate on generators which provide limited electricity to the units. The generators are closed down after the Tavern has closed each night. No power is available after that time therefore we recommend you bring a torch for those midnight manoeuvres. Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a 30% deposit (please see Conditions). The balance of which is to be paid upon arrival at Creek Inn on Ben Lomond. Tasmanian Rover Ski Club The newest public accommodation on the mountain the Tasmannian Rover Ski Club (TRSC) offers a cost effective alternative for families. With individual ensuites for each bedroom the TRSC ensures comfort and convenience. The TRSC has lounge, kitchen, a ski rack for your skis. The bedrooms sleep from 4 to 8 guests on double bunk beds. Rates are per person per night and include bed only with share accommodatio and facilities. BYO* everything including coffee and tea, sleepoing bags or topsheet and blankets, towels, soap and toothbrush, etc. Fanily room rates are also available and apply only to a family group of 2 adults and 2+ children. There are cooking facilities available for general use and meals are also available at Creek Inn. Rates for 2000 ski season Single Person $35-00 per night (includes GST) Family Room $110-00 per night (includes GST) The TRSC operates on a generator and invertor system, providing 24 hour limited power. We do however recommend you bring a torch for those late night manoeuvres. Booking are confirmed on receipt of a 30% deposit (please see Conditions). Ben Lomond Ski Chalet (CISA) The Chalet is located within the ski village behind the Creek Inn and enjoys spectacular views over the ski slopes to the mountain and over the village. The Chalet has a lounge, kitchen, two bathrooms and toilets, a drying room for your clothes and a ski rack for your skis. The bedrooms sleep from 4 to 6 guests on single bunk beds. Rates are per person per night and include bed only with share accommodation and facilities. BYO* everything including coffee and tea, sleeping bags or sheets and blankets, pillows, towels, soap and toothbrush, etc. Family room rates are also available and apply only to a family group of 2 adults and 2+ children. There are cooking facilities available for general use. Meals are also available at Creek Inn. Minimum booking is for 2 nights on weekends (Friday and Saturday). Rates for 2000 ski season Single person $35-00 per night (includes GST) Family Room $110-00 per night (includes GST) The Ski Village and Creek Inn complex operate on generators which provide limited electricity to the Chalet. The generators are closed down after the Tavern has closed each night. No power is available after that time except for lighting from a 12 volt system, however we recommend you bring a torch for those midnight manoeuvres.
