Objectives

Adventure Online is a site created for both students and teachers. It is an interactive journey through various adventures that you can choose. It teaches students about the world and the environment in which they live. It immerses you into real-life adventures without leaving your chair. This site can easily be used to supplement any social studies or science unit at home or in the classroom. It is suitable for most school aged children, depending on reading level.

  • The home page has been recently renovated and not for the better.
  • It is easy to navigate back and forth.
  • Selecting specific expedition basecamps brings you to incredible pages of adventure.

    Conclusion

    The Adventure Online site immediately caught my attention because of the wonderful graphics and multimedia. It would get a student's attention and entice him or her to explore this site. This is a great website for an adventurous and quite curious individual. It can take you places and introduce you to people you only dream about. It could use some renovation on the home page, but once you go inside - You are hooked! I highly recommend students to use this site to gain a better understanding of the adventures that take place in our world.
