Arlington Pacesetters Meeting Minutes

Moore opened the June Meeting of ABWA at Westbury Manor with a greeting
to all members, the invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance.
She began the meeting with an overview of the evening's agenda. She also introduced the guests for this meeting: Becky Giles, the scholarship recipient, Margaret Smith, Darlene Wren, Jana Cassens and Donna Hinkle. A thank you was extended to all members bringing a guest. Waunita then introduced the evening's guest speaker: Christy Ellison, a Chanel Perfume Representative from Dillard's speaking on Fall Make-up Fashion. Waunita then set a motion to accept minutes from previous meeting. Linda Dingee made 1st motion and Ginger McGill made 2nd motion to accept minutes with one change, noted that the meeting speaker on May 20,1999 was introduced by Ginger McGill. Waunita passed out the ABWA Award Categories. Arlington Pacesetters is needing to enroll a new member prior to 7/15/99, to qualify for a Star Award. Waunita also motioned to change the July meeting date and location to July 31,1999 at her home. The motion was voted on by the members in attendance. Those attending should bring a Salad to the meeting. Ginger McGill asked the members to think of topics they would like for the upcoming year to complete the Calendar of Events for 1999-2000. Some topics suggested were: Health, Automotive, Antiques, Travel and Christmas. Waunita led us in the Benediction at the close of the meeting. Rosemary Brown,
