November 11th Arlington Pacesetters Meeting Minutes
Members Present:  13
Guests:  8

We had such a good turn out for the November meeting.  Even with the traffic some of us might have had to tackle through while driving to Ft. Worth to meet at Gabberts.  It was a beautiful place to meet, with lots of holiday ideas.  I especially loved the early 1900 room, the first room on our tour.
First things first, Shirley opened our meeting with the benediction and Pledge.  We went around the room introducing ourselves and our guest.  We had a lovely dinner and dessert.   Afterward Ginger introduced our speaker, Shirlene, who is an employee of Gabberts and helps with the decorations.  She told us of the themes for this year, which is a "Go for it

Holiday", pull out all the decorations with gilts and glamour.  There are decorating classes that meet once a week for 5 weeks (one hour on a Monday night) with a licensed designer teaching the class.

Business Meeting:  December meeting will be on the 16th at Linda Dingee's home (this will be our Christmas meeting).  Please bring a covered dish and $5.00 to donate towards the meat.   Also, spouses are invited and please bring a gift for them.  Our November (Thanksgiving) Gift will be given to Arlington Charity.  A $50.00 donation will be taken from our funds and reimbursed by our fund raiser projects.  This was motioned by Sheryl and seconded by Debbie, voted and carried by the members.  Next agenda was the Business Associate of the Year meeting to be held April 27, Rosemary Brumley

to speak at the meeting -- Adele motioned and Ginger seconded, voted and approved.  The Minutes and Treasurer's report were approved.  January will be the month for "Women of the Year".  The topic for January will be Marketing and Brochures.  We still have not decided on the Christmas Gift giving idea.  Board meeting at Shirley's home December 9, please come (6:00 PM).

God Bless and Happy Holidays,
Sheryl Hentze
