"You will
have seen the message about the Virgin pressrelease concerning
the Trowbridge call center. As you know we have been re negotiating
our current contract with Virgin for the past 12 weeks.The outcome
of this is that Virgin have decided that NTL will become its
preferred operations center supplier for the next 3 years.
The contract
has a break clause after 1 year, this means that we needto continue
to provide the best possible support in the industry at all
times and we need to do it in a way that is profitable for both
NTL and Virgin.
The last
12 weeks have been difficult for both parties and whilst I'm
pleased that our future is secure we do need to think about
the people affected by Virgin's announcement. We will be assisting
Virgin in trying to find the affected people positions in our
organization."
