ABOUT OUR LOGO
Heritage Fortune logo is a very unique work of art,
designed by Vice-President Thomas Pierce.
The Museum, or center-piece of the logo symbolizes our cultural heritage
and is the main focus.
The Seagull signifies freedom and the tradition of our fishing ancestry
as well as our continued love affair with the sea.
The Trilobite is representative of the geological history of the area
surrounding the town of Fortune. It gives reference to the
International Geological Reserve at Fortune Head.
The lines that separate History, Heritage, and Tradition indicate that each has
a distinct and separate existence. However, contained within the boundaries
of Heritage Fortune, they culminate into a single entity, which is an
embodiment of what we are. They are separate but combined - Different yet
the same - Unique, distinct, and equal. We have made a strong commitment
to the preservation of all three and together they define our legacy.
