HUMBOLDT HATE CRIME LOG 2

I have moved to Eureka, the county seat, where I have found some of the street people from southern Humboldt county incarcerated in the county jail where some of them have died from denial of medical treatment, including Pat O'Brien (see the original Humboldt Hatecrime Log) a mentally impaired man who strangled himself with his prison issue jump suit while incarcerated -(see the Eureka Times-Standard article on this incident)- for an indefinite period of time and Michael Chaote who was deprived of his prescribed medicine when arrested and died 6 days later begging for his medicine or any health care. -(see the Times-Standard article on this incident)-

Concerning the beating death of a homeless man at the Redway, California post office there is a plea bargained sentence now; 11 years, 85% of which should be served. See the article in the Eureka Times Standard. I have been following this "story" on my original Humboldt Hate Crime Log page.

Concerning the war on the poor and their massive imprisonment I could not resist a one man picket of the local courthouse on 5th street, hiway 101 north, here in Eureka. I took pictures before i went down town to do this with my web cam here is me displaying one side and me displaying the other. I got a lot of positive feed back and one "F--- YOU" from a guy in a giant new pick up truck.
