Len Basey
This jazzy guy has been a figure-head in the Malaysian music business ever since World War 2 but now has fled from that country fearing for his life. He set up a small band called
The Len Basey Jazz Quartet to cover up his real identity and now his real name is not known. We love him loads.

He plays the electronic parrot which sounds remarkably like a keyboard but its not…honest. He also secretly does the horse sounds for Damn that Horse although we like to think that Cathy is trotting by on Jimmy. He also has an rare 16-octave range vocal capacity but he only chooses to use one.MUSICAL BACKGROUND>
He established himself as a Malaysian pin-up by composing and performing the theme tune to Look Mum there’s a Guerrilla in the bath-tub which was a hit among the youngsters of Malaysia, (no, we mean the YOUNGSTERS of Malaysia.)He then went onto Australia in 1999 where he featured in the vocals for the new Neighbours theme tune. He was then ridiculed and went into hiding for the second time. He is now wanted by many people who are really quite scary. (Lance is heading the vigilante movement.) He then was trapped for five years in a room with four of his friends in a tough time after which The Len Basey Jazz Quartet was formed. (For more see
the website) Len was persuaded to come out of retirement early and join Jimbo’s Moose in which he is very happy.FAVOURITE FOOD>
