Manga: The Plot of Doctor Hydra
Written by Yoshinobu Katou, art by Yoshihiro Moritou (creator of the original 1976 Microman Manga! This would be his last Microman manga, and only in late 1998 did a new Microman manga series reappear.
The first splash page identifies the characters Takashi (the boy), Yuka (the girl), and Salam (the Microman in the center).
Next we see the fiendish Dr.Hydra discuss with his mysterious collaborator his plans to take control of the world by using a gas he
developed that turns humans into trees! However, Takashi, Yuka, and members of the MMC--a sort of Microman Boy's Club are out hiking, when Takashi spies something
suspicious with his ScopeMan binoculars...
Note this manga reads left to right, like an American comic book. This is the opposite of normal manga (including the orginal 1976 one), so the panels were numbered
to avoid confusion.
