Microman Fan Bulletin--"In this corner we hear the voices of Microman fans"

Q&A Corner
The first fan letter suggests making a working PC that changes into a robot. The answer is that it's a very powerful concept. Amusingly, 15 years later, the MicroStation came out as part of the 1999 Microman series...a Sony Playstation-like console that changes into a base, and the folowing year the MicroBoy, a Game boy look-alike that changes into a robot.

The second letter asks for more Microman toys that change into actual functioning items, like the WatchRobo. The response points out that this is precisely what is being done with the very latest line of the MicroChange series (RadiCasse Robo, KeyRobo, BeamRobo, MicroScope, and ScopeMan).

The third letter is the most interesting. This fan notes the lack of any recent new Microman and Acroyear figures, and as a fan of Acroyear figures, would like to see more. The answer is that brand new Microman figures will be "released next year" and that while the release for new Acroyears has not been scheduled yet, it will be fun to wait and see what's next. (this implies that new Microman figure designs were already planned and would have been released in 1985!!) Too bad it would actually be 15 years before this really became true!

The Illustration Corner contains two nice pieces of fan art. Below it is the address to write to send fan mail to Takara.

At the bottom left is an explanation of the "Chameleon Goods" label that appears on the last of the MicroChange series, which is to reflect the way the MicroChange toys camoflague themselves.
