Yartar is home to every convenience a traveler on the frontier could desire. Welcoming inns, rough and ready taverns and all the backcountry equipment any adventurer could want await anyone with the coin to spend on them. For those without such means, the Hiring Fair might be more useful. A gathering spot for adventurers needing work and employers needing adventurers, many a deal has been struck with a handshake here. The city is ruled by the Waterbaron Belleethe Kheldorna, a just and industrious servant of Tyr whose justice is often tested to the full by the boisterous citizens and travelers that come for the Hiring Fair or the Shieldmeet gathering held every four years.   back
