Veruca Salt are, Nina Gordon, Louise Post, Steve Lack, and Jim Shapiro. Veruca Salt came roaring out of the Chicago Grunge scene in 1993 with their first hit song, "Seether" off of the album titled, American Thighs. "Seether" earned heavy rotation on rock radiostations around the US and eventually was featured in the MTV buzz bin.

Since that time they released two more albums. Their next creation was Blow it out your ass it's Veruca Salt. Which was a four song EP released in 1996.

The next year they released their next and unfortunately last full length album titled Eight Arms to Hold You.
