Cradle by Authur C. Clarke & Gentry Lee

First off I'm gonna hit you up with an author that I have just started following and all that I can say is whoa! The man is brilliant and his work is magnificent. Who is he? Authur C. Clarke has been writing for more than forty years and has had many New York Times Bestsellers including the complete 2001 Odyssey series. He is one of the masters of science fiction and if you love Star Trek or Star Wars then you will absolutely love Clarke's works. The first book of his that I read was Cradle, which we co-wrote with Gentry Lee. All that I can say is unbelievable; I was blown away by this book. One of the most interesting aspects of this book is that Clarke uses a strong female as the lead character. Carol Dawson is heroine that is not a typical "dumb blonde." Along with Nick Williams and Troy Jefferson they go through an adventure that takes them to an alien ship, a naval base and finally to stealing gold from some stuck up millionaires. This is definitely a must read so do that aight!
