ACK FITZBio
Fitzs performing roots are in comedy, being an original cast member of The Sunshine Party Comedy Show. He has training in improvisational comedy from the nationally-renowned Brave New Workshop, founded by Dudley Riggs. He studied acting under Jane Brody, who was the casting director for the Academy-award winning film Fargo.
Fitzs stage credits include a combination of the classics and contemporary theater. He played Costard in Shakespeares Loves Labours Lost, Snug in A Midsummer Nights Dream and Bert Jefferson in the Moss Hart, George S. Kaufman gem The Man Who Came To Dinner. Roles in contemporary theater include Claudius in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and Sam in the original production of Six-Pack, a drama.
Fitz has performed in several independent films. He played the title role of Luartez in Good Morning Luartez, which was inspired by the character he played in the film The Eccentric Millionaire. He also played Mo Lantzen, a tortured artist in the Wes Jones film Apt. 6.
Now based in New York City, Fitz is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, the third of eight kids in an Irish-American family. A completely neglected middle child, Fitz had to stand up, introduce himself, and tell his family jokes to earn his dinner every night.
