1. I am going to introduce the educational system briefly.

There are 3 terms (學期) in one year: Michaelmas term ; Lent term; Summer term. Every MA in Tourism and Leisure student is supposed to finish six course modules by the end of summer term, and submit one dissertation by middle of September.

1.1 You will be required to decide six course modules in the begging of Michaelmas term. As you are new here, and are not familiar with the content of course modules. Therefore, there are two ways for you to choose your modules. Firstly, you can consult with the course director. Secondly, read your course handbook firstly, and come to audient the modules in that you are interested. Because you can change your course modules in the begging of every term, therefore, please do not worry too much about this. However, please do remember to inform the coordinator every time you change your modules. Generally, the ideal way is choosing two modules for every term. However, you are flexible to choose more than two as long as you can handle these modules well.
