Hello!  My name is Kathy or Kat as I am known to some people.  My really good friends call me a Goddess (=  I currently am a freshman at Michigan State University, majoring in their excellant and accredited journalism program.  I plan to graduate either in the fall of 2000 or the spring of 2001. It all depends on next summer and whether I take more credits.

Besides attending classes, I work for the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) doing general office work. Some of your high schools may have been involved with MIPA. It's a great program and I really enjoy working with Cheryl, Amy and Randy.  Earlier in the year, I had worked across the hall for the journalism department.

I am an outdoors person, and I love spending time in the sun, at the beach, or taking a walk through the woods.  I just like being outdoors in the fresh air!  I also like rollerblading on warm summer days, hanging out with my two best friends Jess and Betsy and talking about guys with Beth.

I like to play pool, although I need to learn how to aim.  Mostly in the summer, you can find me at Sands (pool hall), watching movies somewhere in Grand Rapids, or at someone's house just hanging out.
