Philanthropy
Philanthropy has been important to Delta Zeta since 1914. Delta Zeta's philanthropy is the Delta Zeta Foundation. The Foundation funds educational programs for the sorority, makes annual donations to the House Ear Institute and Gallaudet University, and gives scholarships to initiated members who have demonstrated academic excellence.
In the past, our chapter held "Fraternity Football Classic", a football tournament to raise money for the deaf and hearing impaired. This fall we will be having our first annual "Womanless Beauty Pagaent" instead. We help out at the Brennan School by having parties for the hearing impaired children there. We also participate in an after school program at a local family shelter.
The other sororities and fraternities on campus also have philanthropy events that we love to participate in.
