I walk into a room just as cool as you please.
And to a man,
well the stand,
While all other Greeks fall to their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive and honey bees.
I say,
It's the truth in my eyes,
And the proud stride in my hips,
The kindness of my heart,
And the commitment to .
I am a woman phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
Greeks have wondered what they see in me.
They try so much, but they can't touch my inner mystery.
When I try to show them
The grace given me from above,
The beauty of my modesty,
The inner need to give and receive .
Now, you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud,
When you see me dreaming of Z Phi
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's the blue in my heart,
The way I hold the principles I should,
The uniqueness of my thoughts.
The evidence of
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally
Why else would I be a member of Z Phi B?
Excerpts from Maya Angelou's Phenomenal Woman Edited and Revised by Kimberly Campbell
The heart of a Sigma is cunning, bold, loving, and true.
Not red, pink, or green but the extravagant ROYAL BLUE.
It's as beautiful as the sky on a clear summer night.
The crescent moon and stars; the coalition of BLUE and WHITE
The heart of Sigma is challenged daily and is often misunderstood.
But still won't be denied the title of the Epitome of Finer Womanhood.
Our bond is inexplicable, there is none greater.
The heart of a Sigma is none other than a ZETA.

To my Royal Queens of Zeta Phi Beta.
It was with love in our hearts that we, your true blue brothers,
watched you grow into your grand and majestic state.
Our bond is one of love and commitment.
Joined hand in hand, constitutionally bound,
Till the very end, a bond even harder than cement.
Like the stars in the sky, our dedication to you will be a
constant source of strength to you.
Always know that when you see a Sigma Man you have a friend
and that friend will always be true.
As your Five Pearls shine as bright as the northern stars
Know that the Blue and White Family shall exist always in our
hearts.
For you my Royal Queens of the Blue and White,
A kiss to seal our family tie.
With Love,
Terrell Campbell

Zeta Lambda Chapter
I am the finer woman
I am a lady of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority
I am the heart of a Sigma
The vital rib created from his side
If virtue and sisterly love is what you seek
Strive for perfection
--Soror Felicia Kelly
With rebirth and a coming of age
We have arrived at this, our maturing stage.
With eager renewal and ambitious drive,
We keep the Dreams of Taylor, Morse, and Brown Alive;
Exploring the caverns of uncertainty,
We find Blueprints of the Past: Treading the oceans of negativity,
We triumph with skills that shall forever last.
In Sigma we shall walk and talk with ever truthful tongue
Bearing this special gift to treasure,
We pass it to the old and to the young.
Like a precious metal with polish applied,
It will shine as bright as it was
for What it Is, is What It will Always Be
My Phi Beta, My Glorious Fraternity.

A storm was to come,
the reports said soon.
Few believed, many doubted,
and attempted to deny their possible doom.
The First drop hit hard,
creating a splash that rose all tides.
The second hit with a matching fierceness,
engulfing and drowning all those that denied.
All that was left, a third drop,
to signal the storms relentless reign,
Impacted with such a force,
it extinguished the devil's flame.
The winds ripped through the lands,
lifted buildings and plowed trees.
Thunder roared like lions,
created earthquakes, & brought the strong to their knees.
Even `till this day,
it has continued to rain.
For a storm to be so great,
it must possess an all powerful name.
Form its origin, Howard University,
January Ninth, nineteen fourteen dated,
This storm , the only storm,
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated!
