History of the Chi Beta Chapter
At the University of Charleston in 1993 a group of baseball players thought that they were in need of something better that what UC had to offer at that time. So this young group of men came together to start the idea of a new Fraternity that would be one of the best on the UC campus. Their idea to create a new chapter of the Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity. The National office of Kappa Delta Rho came to UC to see if the well of this group of young men really wanted to form a new Chapter of the Fraternity. When they saw what the campus and the student body of UC appeared to be like they decided that they needed to form a new chapter here. So as time went on the idea of a new chapter grew and grew. Then of March 3rd of the year 1995 the brothers of our chapter were initiated into the order known as Kappa Delta Rho. Today a select group of men still wear the letters that were given to us on that day, the letters K D R .

To whom it may concern:
The brothers of Kappa Delta Rho have always been true. By this we mean that we never pretend to be something that we are not. We have more people involved, more community service projects, and an overall better respect from the entire community, especially the faculty and the administration at UC. We also have the best GPA of any other group. We always represent ourselves, the university, and the Greek System better than any other organization. This is why we are known as "The Gentleman’s Fraternity."
Thanks to our founding fathers for everything they gave us.
