The IBO was started in 1975 and soon grew to one of the largest and most active
organizations on campus. IBO was founded by Basil Janavaras, and the first
president was Sandra Renner, who is now the President of Global Resource
Associates in St. Paul. IBO has had many accomplishments, one of them being
that they reinstated business career day in 1976 and sponsored it for the next
ten years.
