| bap! online almost as boring as you think |
| 7 january 2001 the weekend's been boring. what can i say? i have no life. my friend, robert robinson, e-mailed me and complained about the lack of content here. listen buddy, i'm working on some more stuff, so get off your high horse. in unrelated, personal news, j. edward keyes has agreed to do an interview with me for stranger things. in case you didn't know, he wrote liner notes for starflyer 59's boxset, easy come, easy go and for jetenderpaul's the woolen spires. he also writes for cmj, magnet, and tidal wave. it kinda sucks to interview a guy who does interviews, but i'm not your normal person and he probably can't guess what's coming his way. my family watched jakob the liar with robin williams tonight. it was a pretty good movie. we watched the perfect storm with george clooney and maky mark last night. the funny thing is that neither movie had a traditional, happy ending. well, i'm going. say "hi" to the kids. -js 5 january 2001 nothing beats time off from school. better yet, nothing beats time from work and school. why? i had two surgeries in the past month. you see, i had sleep apnea. it's what causes some people to stop breathing while they sleep. and a lot of times, a symptom of sleep apnea is obnoxious snoring. so i'm all fixed up like a freakshow without a uvula [that thing that hangs down in the back of your throat that no one knows what it's called unless they're in med school]. other than that, i'm having fun. my friend dan billen from the billions is coming over on saturday [or splaturday, as he likes to say] to bring their cd around town to sell on consignment. then i'm going to see the elevator division at the new earth that night. it's supposedly joey hoskins' last show. i think they've been saying that for the past eight shows. maybe they'll just incarcerate him and make it definite. -js
