I really liked this class. Every time Sally would bring in a big box with a lot of good books. We read The Giver by Lois Lowry, Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry and Mississippi Bridge by Mildred Taylor, and many other books.

Sally is nice but acts as if all the students are first graders. I don't know if she's modeling how to act as a teacher or if she's always that way. It takes some getting use to, but actually its quite nice.
