Collaborative Agent of Change

I am a human being. I am a humane human being. In all of my actions and relationships I keep these personal truths in mind. I want to become an adept practioner of critical pedagogy. I believe that this philosophy has great potential for improving the world. I will continually examine myself and the world for insights to help me on this journey.

Here are some photographs of events, protests, and demonstrations that I have attended that relate to being a collaborative agent of change.

Anti-nuclear weapon demonstration-November, 1985, Nuremberg, Germany. The boy's sign says, "I have a RIGHT to live." The girl's says, "I want to LIVE a little longer."

In the spring of 1998, devasting straight line winds struck our neighbourhood. Luckily our house was spared any major damage, but many houses were heavily damaged, and practically all of the neighbourhood's large trees were destroyed. I spent the majority of that weekend and week helping my neighbors clean up.
