I happen to be very interested in drama. I have been involved in it since grade nine. This year I performed in the fall play on Nov. 6, 7, and 8, as one of the teachers. I was not on the improv team, and did not perform in the musical, but I very recently was the assistant stage manager for the one-act play "E Pluribus Unum" which was entered in the regional drama festival. We performed it on Wednesday, April 1, and it went really well. I hope we go to provincials, like "Heaven Is" did last year!
For me, drama is a very good way to meet different people, and to make some new friends, especially when there is a cast of about forty or fifty people. When I first got involved in drama I didn't know many people at school, but after the first play I found I knew a lot more people. I enjoy acting, so it's an excellent activity for me to get involved in.
