From left to right... My second oldest sister Veronica, my aunt Antonia, my Mommy, and my cousin Elvira. Both of our families grew up together. Their family consists of 9 people and mine consists of 8 people. Together...that's 17 people. That's a pretty big family huh. :-) Usually for Christmas, each year we alternate houses. We go to either house, and we make Tamales...mmmmm...and we stay up on X-mas eve until midnight. Then, we start opening gifts one by one. It's a great family reunion. | |||||||||||||||||

My oldest sister Angelica is the only family member from my family not pictured here. Until I get a picture of her...this little sea pup will have to do. I think it's a swell replacement...hehe. :-) Anyway, both of my parents are from a small rancho in Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico. Every few yeas we go down to see the rancho that my parents grew up in. It's really amazing how they lived, they were very poor. They usually had to get their water from a nearby mountain. From left to right... My second oldest brother Porfirio, my Dad, my little brother Gerardo, my oldest brother Raymundo, and my cousin David. Besides my cuz, these are the men of my family. What do you think...do they look alike??? heehee :-) My little brother is going to be the last of both our families to go to Reseda High school. We've given them a generation of kids from both our families. At Reseda High, they know most of us Garay's....hehe. Hopefully Gerardo won't ruin our good name...j/k.
