So Much for the Afterglow- 6/23/99
Thought Provoking Stuff On a side note, all these pictures were ones that I found on a webpage. They were drawn by some people I know online, and I thought they looked nifty.

On with the column.

I'm sure everyone has heard the phrase, Nice guys finish last. I truly believe this is true, especially in my current situation. Sure, my friends see me with some edge I guess, when I make fun of random people in public or make fun of Tanya due to his lack of coordination and vocabulary (You still can't see sound Danny) But I believe that all females (Most of them anyway) deserve to be put on a pedestal. Therefore, you'll rarely catch me saying a thought provoking thing to anybody of the female gender. I guess I'll continue to finish last until I do something. Is there something wrong with me?
I am a video game importer, and recently, Sony has put a lockout on imports, rendering them only playable on regional Playstations. (Japanese Games can only be played on Japanese Playstations, USA Games on USA Playstations) This was added because of people called pirates, using cd-r's to burn copies of Playstation games, and using things called mod chips to allow them to play the burned games. I've got a friend, let's call him/her R. S/he owns a Mod chipped Playstation with a few burned games. S/he does not see the problem with a Playstation that's mod chipped mainly because Sony is developing new technology to lock out mod chips, and it's illegal. I feel stupid paying 40 dollars for a game, when I know that R can get the game for 3 dollars. Unfair to the importers I say. On to something not as corny, piracy.
Vacation I'll be going on vacation starting this Saturday, so if someone wants a guest spot on this column, it's fine and dandy like sour candy. Otherwise, I'll make a double feature for the two weeks I'm gone, although I may stop home.

-Closing Remarks

Until nexttime we meet.
