Josh Byers and Mickie Hyde started dating approximately 9 months ago on March 22, 1998. They met at school and furthered their relationship when on a chorale tour that went to Michigan. Their relationship hit a staggering halt when the couple decided to call things off for the summer. They would be traveling together on a singing team and they felt that they could minister more effectively if they were not in a monogamous relationship. Although Josh did not like it, he agreed. The very first week into travel it was useless to try and deny their feelings. It would have done more detriment than good to have stayed apart, so they then got back together and have been dating ever since. When asked for comment Josh said that "She is the most incredible girl he has ever met and his life would not be the same if he had not met her." He went on to say, "I love her so much and if I could store my love for her in a room, it would take a room about the size of the solar system, if even that would hold it…probably not." Wow! What a guy!!!
