Sinterklaas
|
When I was about 5 years old, Sinterklaas, supported by Zwarte Piet interrogated me. Although he had my record, he must have made some sort of mistake, as he did not take me with him to Spain. Some, however, assert that leaving me behind was his true verdict: being condemned to spend my youth in Holland.
For non-Dutch: Sinterklaas is the Dutch Santa Claus. His anniversary is December 5.
