My Biography

I seek the know-how of designing my own web page, using HTML (as it turns out, it's easy!). I feel using web programs that do everything for you is fine, but that one should first learn to do it the hard way (more power to you).

I've built my own PC, complete with a Cyrix 300mhz processor, 8mb video card, 56k Creative Labs Modem Blaster, 32 bit I/O Magic Magicsound, etc., etc...

The current uses for the World Wide Web are many: business, communication, games, research, to name a few. In the near future, I envision people seldom leaving their homes. Why should they when almost everything can be done on the World Wide Web? They can grocery shop, operate a home-based business, attend global meetings, accomplish tasks at home rather than at work, Christmas shop for the family, even take cyber-vacations to Europe, China, Africa, etc., etc. The World Wide Web is changing everything in our society, and I feel, if done right, the change could be good.

My interests include writing fiction, reading, camping, collecting rare books, and now...creating my own web page.

Concerning my pets, I have a dog and several cats. My dog's name is Bear. He's a fourteen-year-old german shepard and his hind legs are going out. He's been a good dog who enjoys barking too much; he got so bad once, we were forced to place a shock collar around his neck; we'd hear him gearing up to bark, and then...SNAP...nothing. Poor guy. Our cats do their own thing; their names are Tigger, Sadie, and Shivers. We raised Shivers from birth after we found her abandoned by her mother in the rain one cold night. After we brought her inside by the fire, she slowly came back to life! The vet checked on her the next day and said she was healthy. Bottle-feeding Shivers baby formula was a pleasure and we found that raising a cat had, for the most part, the same responsibilities as raising a child; Shivers would start crying at three in the moring. The reason we gave her her name is self-explanatory.

As far as my wife's and my family are concerned, they are both great! We are lucky we get along very well with each others' parents; sometimes, that is a rare thing among couples.

I have lived in Califoria all of my twenty-five years, as has my wife (we we're married on November, 22, 1997; her name is Sarah). After graduating from Del Oro High School in 1993, I decided to attend Sierra College and strive for a business degree. It took me a few semesters to figure out business wasn't my forte. As it turned out, English was...well, creative writing to be exact. I decided I wanted to write after taking an English course in 1995. Since then, I have completed a novel writing workshop and try very hard to write every day. As of this date, I have half a fantasy novel completed and several shorter works of science fiction, none of which have been sent out (not quite ready yet).

My Favorite Books

These really aren't my favorite books, it's just that they're the only book-pictures I have right now.
