Jonathan and his wife are actively involved in the Adult Literacy Program. Jonathan works
with others who are struggling to read, and is very compassionate because he understands
where they are coming from! Jonathan feels that it is his personal responsibility to help
others in the same way he was helped throughout his education.
Jonathan also works with his own children on a daily basis to improve their academic skills.
His one desire is to avoid Special Education services for his kids! Jonathan knows that
the modifications he received through Special Education can be made by him or the
regular ed. teachers. Thus, he intends to make this happen. His children, hopefully, won�t
suffer the same stigma as Jonathan did!
