Computer Skills:
I have experience in C++ programming at NASA and have developed several data acquisition programs in C for the SDSU ag engineering department. I am very knowledgeable in MS DOS, Windows 3x/95/NT, MS Office, Netscape, and MS Internet Explorer. I have also designed several web pages, using HTML code, CGI, and Java. I am familiar with HoTMetaL and Netscape HTML editors.

FFA scholarship from Quaker Oats; Leaders of Tomorrow scholarship from SDSU; Mickelson Scholar, an award given to the top 1% of graduating high school seniors in South Dakota; Engineering Exploration Days Quiz Bowl, 3rd place; Dean's list.

Through this program, I will attend Virginia Polytechnic Institute for
the 1997-98 academic year. I am participating in this program for several
reasons. I feel the experience will help me grow academically, as well as
socially and culturally. Additionally, this program offers me an
opportunity to explore a different college's resources and graduate
schools.
