The Gallery of Fine (and not so fine) Art
The Sistine Chapel is the Pope's chapel in the Vatican Palace. The west wall is covered with "The Last Judgment" and the ceilings are covered with scenes of creation from Genesis. The frescoes of the Sistine Chapel were incredibly difficult to create. Michelangelo worked high above the floor, lying on his back on scaffolding. He painted some of the finest images of all time. There are nine scenes from the Book of Genesis. They include God Separating Light from Darkness, Creation of Adam, Creation of Eve, Temptation and Fall of Adam and Eve, and the Flood.
